在高中三年級那年，讀到英文課本有關牛頓的文章，那一課，有個單字留下深刻印象，就是pebble。

為何對於pebble維持很久的記憶？

可能是因為讀大學的時候，有次買到廠牌名稱Pebble的衣服，穿在身上，經常看見Pebble，而容易想起牛頓那段話。

牛頓自己認為是個小孩，在真理的大海邊玩耍，偶爾拾起光滑的小石頭(意指學術上的成就)。
